Membership Information

The Society welcomes new members. Membership fees support the modest provision of entertainment for invited speakers as well as periodic minor societal expenses. The society is a charitable foundation.

Those wishing to become a member should submit, by email or post, their name and contact information, including both email and postal addresses to the Treasurer of the relevant Branch. Prospective members should convey the appropriate subscription to the Treasurer either by direct deposit or by post. A postal form is available on this website. For 2012-13, the rates for membership with the Auckland Branch are $45.00 (normal member). Student members will be admitted for $10.00.

Both current and prospective members may wish to subscribe to the Australian Journal of Legal Philosophy. The journal is available to members of the NZSL&SP at the arranged special price of $50 NZ. It is a very good journal. Anyone wanting to obtain a copy of the journal for 2009, should add $50 to their subscription or send it separately. Make sure you let Tim or Jim know it is for the subscription and indicate the address for delivery so that we can pass on these details to the Australian Society.

Finally, the Society welcomes suggestions for its future programme. Prospective members are encouraged to suggest speakers and topics.
